The Council's Founding
In the Philippines, the practice of Reiki is thriving, with many individuals like yourself embracing its benefits for personal growth and professional development. To support and unite practitioners like you, the Philippine Reiki Council was founded by Reiki Wellness Inc., a non-profit organization.
Our primary goal is to promote Reiki as a service to Philippine society by fostering continuous advancement among practitioners like you in personal growth, professional practice, and spiritual development. We aim to coordinate efforts, create an inclusive community, and share knowledge and experiences among like-minded individuals like yourself.
Supported by experienced practitioners with at least 10 years of Reiki practice and expertise in complementary and alternative medicine, the Council organizes nationwide projects, professional training, and national conferences to raise awareness and expand Reiki's reach.
The Council's Commitment

Organizational Structure
Our work is fueled by the dedication of our volunteers. As a non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of individuals who share our passion for promoting Reiki in the Philippines. Our volunteers, many of whom are affiliated with Reiki Wellness Inc., selflessly contribute their time and expertise to carry out the day-to-day tasks that keep the organization running smoothly.
In addition to our dedicated volunteers, we are fortunate to have a Council of Elders who provide invaluable counsel and guidance on the practice of Reiki. Comprised of Reiki Masters with years of experience, our Council of Elders serves as a policy-making body, helping to shape the direction and goals of the organization.
While the Membership sets the general goals and direction of the council, it is our volunteers who work tirelessly to implement these initiatives and bring our vision to life. Their passion and dedication are the driving force behind everything we do.
Training Standards
The Council, with the assistance of volunteers and the secretariat, takes on the responsibility of uplifting and supporting members in their training and development journey. This includes providing resources, guidance, and assistance to help members meet the established standards.
The training standards apply to three main categories:
Informal/Practice and Practitioner: This level encompasses informal practice and self-healing techniques. Members are encouraged to engage in regular practice and self-reflection to deepen their understanding of Reiki and its application in their lives.
Formal/Professional Practice and Practitioner: At this level, members undergo formal training to become professional practitioners of Reiki. They receive comprehensive instruction in Reiki techniques, client interaction, and ethical considerations. The Council supports members in obtaining the necessary training and certification to practice professionally.
Formal/Professional Teaching and Teachers: Members who aspire to become Reiki teachers undergo additional training to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to educate others in the practice of Reiki. The Council provides guidance and support to help members become qualified Reiki teachers, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of excellence in their teaching practice.
Code of Ethics
All members hold themselves to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. As such, all members are required to sign our Code of Ethics, which outlines the principles and values that guide our conduct and interactions within the Reiki community.
The Code of Ethics is implemented in a fair and non-discriminatory manner, ensuring that all members are treated with respect and dignity. It serves as a framework for ethical behavior, promoting honesty, transparency, and compassion in all aspects of our practice.
